This chinese bakery are known for the best egg tarts in the Bay Area. Located in the middle of Chinatown, Golden Gate Bakery serves authentic, warm, flaky egg tarts that can satisfy any cravings. The lines can get extremely long and the store is known to take vacations unannounced so call ahead.

The best macarons in the area can be found at Chantal Guillon. The beautiful glass display shows unique flavors that balance sweetnes and crispiness in every macaron. Chantal Guillon is "a very Parisian blend of chic with a dash of California flair".

The best ice creamery in the city, Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous serve all fresh, organic, homemade ice cream. They serve unique flavors of ice cream from Peanut Brittle to Pink Squirrel. What makes Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous unique is the texture of their ice cream - silky smooth and melt-in-your-mouth. You can ask the friendly owners for an unlimited number of tasters but be prepared to wait in line!
